This 1946 Ford Sedan Delivery is one of those vehicles you can say is RARE! These cars make awesome Business Advertisers. Trust us, when someone sees your name on the side of a neat sedan delivery, they do not forget you or your company name. This sedan delivery is an original South Dakota car that was used in a heating and plumbing business. Would be an awesome service truck for an upholstery, custom rod shop, etc. We have had this vehicle for a number of years and it is currently on display in our museum. We did restore this car a number of years ago, and was done very nicely. Not a show vehicle, but it certainly could be if you chose to do so. It was a 99.9 percent rust free vehicle when we started the restoration. It still has the original floors and there are no patch panels anywhere. There was a small spot of rust on the bottom of each front fender, and a small spot of rust on the bottom of the rear fender. All these spots of rust were very easy to repair. There were a lot of small dings but no big dents, and all dings were repaired correctly. We can safely say this Sedan Delivery has a very straight body with very good to excellent sheet metal. The doors all open and close like new. The odometer shows 57,000 plus miles that was confirmed by the previous owner as actual miles. They had stored the vehicle and just never got around to restoring it. However, we can not verify the mileage, but by looking at this vehicle and the condition it was in when we started the restoration, it sure looks to be the right mileage. Many new parts installed, including all new glass and rubbers. Has a Dennis Carpenter new plastic dash pieces, with an original dash and all the gauges too which are in good condition. Has new grille trim. The roof is in very nice condition with no holes drilled in it or dents. The interior is covered in gray/dark almost black vinyl. The seats are not original, but are nice buckets we believe came from an early Mustang. This little jewel has a very desirable and popular 1953 Ford Flathead V8 that runs quiet, and has a 2 duce carburetor system. The rest of the drive train is all original, with a 3 speed transmission that shifts on the column, and still has the original axles. The bumpers still need to be rechromed, but they are straight. If you are looking for a very nice car to drive, show, advertise your business here is an opportunity to own a clean vehicle that will need very little to be a nice daily driver. Yes, you will get a clear clean title for this vehicle, and we can help you with shipping arrangements world wide. I may consider taking a trade in of a 1920s to 1950s vehicle.
