WELCOME TO OUR SHOP NEWS
As we continue our adventures of
Motion Unlimited Museum and you watch our
Website evolves and grows. This page will
Talk about some of the projects Bill and Peggy
Well the 57 Chevy sedan delivery is 99.99% complete.
All we have left to do is the sun visors, and
a good polishing. All in all this car has
turned out very nice. If you want to see
some pictures of it, go to our website and
click on the restored car page.
We have owned this car for over 15 years
And decided 2002 would be it's year to transform it
into a new addition to our collection.
As many of
You know, we are very partial to Sedan Deliveries.
Our Newest Project 1940 White Horse Milk Truck
Since we've finished the 57 Chevy, Bill has now
decided the 1940 White Horse Delivery Truck is
on the restoration path. This truck was built
in Cleveland Ohio, and is one neat little
delivery truck. It was used as a milk truck.
We bought this truck at a friends auction in
1978 in Sturgis South Dakota. Our friend
said some hippies drove it to Sturgis and
sold it to him to get back home.
Peggy has used the White Horse to store her huge
collection of hub caps since then. Now, her
hub caps are safely stored in a semi trailer.
This truck looks simalar to a Divco, only neater.
It has an air cooled engine, looks sort of like
a Corvair motor.
Bill did get it running and he says it sounds
like a Harley motor. There is some rust in
the floor, which is normal for a milk truck.
But, thankfully it will be easy to fix. The
other spots of rust are minor and there are
a few dents, but nothing serious.
We hope to have the White Horse finished
this year 2004, and on display in the museum.
Happy Motoring, Bill and Peggy Napoli
